Just south of the picturesque, seaside town of Sidney sits the gorgeous, oceanfront Bazan Bay Beach House. Here, you can enjoy West Coast living at its best with direct beach access and 180 expansive Gulf Island and ocean views from most rooms in the house.
With three bedrooms upstairs plus a one bedroom and studio-style bedroom in the self-contained suite downstairs, this home is perfect for larger families who are looking for an escape to the seaside. The three bathrooms have recently been renovated to a high standard with two, walk-in, glass fronted showers, a freestanding deep soaker tub, and heated floors.
You and your family can enjoy having two full kitchens with modern appliances, two living room areas with televisions and AppleTV, two gas fireplaces and excellent quality linens throughout the home.
The main living area upstairs can easily accommodate 8 guests for family gatherings and mealtimes. The entire house has been renovated recently with tasteful and modern west coast decor except the kitchen cupboards, which still rock a groovy 70s vibe we love.
Sidney by the Sea is just a few minutes drive or a lovely beach walk away where you can find incredible restaurants, cafs, shopping and attractions.
At Bazan Bay, youre only a short drive from Victoria, , ferries, the airport, buses, hiking trails and more! .
You can tour local wineries, breweries and cideries, visit Butchart Gardens, Shaw Center for the Salish Sea, the Royal BC Museum and more. Plus with so many amazing shops, pubs and restaurants all over the lower island, youll never be bored!
We are right on the Lochside Trail, a multi-use trail system that runs from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal all the way to Victoria and connects to the Galloping Goose for longer adventures, but you will hardly want to leave the property!
There's always some interesting wildlife to see including resident seals and sea otters, bald eagles and a seasonal variety of waterfowl and migrating birds. Keep your eyes peeled with our complimentary binoculars for transient sea lions, dolphins and the occasional pod of orca whales. Bring or rent kayaks, bikes, paddleboards or a good pair of walking shoes for daily adventures, or just curl up by the fire and relax to the sound of waves on the beach.
While the beach is walkable, you'll need to walk down three steps and hop across a few logs to get there. Watch your step!
We don't have cable TV but you are welcome to sign in to Netflix on our AppleTV and stream wireless to it, or connect your phone or tablet directly to the TV, just remember to bring your own cables!

PAYMENTS REQUIRED |
The first payment is a deposit of 50% of the accommodation total plus applicable taxes due at time of booking. The balance is due 45 days prior to occupancy. Damage deposits are a pre-authorized hold on your credit card and are collected only if deemed necessary. |
