Nestled among the trees on Prospect Lake, you will find a cottage style home on a third of an acre. When you step inside the front door, you will immediately feel that you have stepped into a combination of Downton Abbey and an English pub.

The house is furnished with leather couches, Tiffany lamps, and rugs on hardwood floors. Enormous picture windows from floor to ceiling give you a view of the lake and lush spacious gardens. The large master suite is upstairs in a loft with your own balcony and beautiful views of the water. The wrap around decks under the trees and vines give you the feeling that you are in a treehouse. There is a covered dining area outside equipped with a BBQ.

Saunter down to another deck and boathouse, or sit on the dock and enjoy the wonderful variety of birds, otters, beaver and mink. If you enjoy fishing the lake is stocked with bass, trout and Kokanee salmon.

Just a five minute walk from the front door, and you will find yourself in hectares of walking and mountain bike trails that will lead right down to the ocean. Treat yourself to a visit to the local Todd Creek Cidery or walk up to a popular bakery and restaurant called Mosi.

The Red Barn Market, where you can buy all your groceries and organic vegetables is just a bike ride away.

The famous Butchart Gardens is a must see, in any season and is only a 10 minute drive from the cottage.

Heated primarily by a wood-burning stove you will find this home a cozy place to curl up with a good book or perhaps you will be inspired to do some writing yourself.

Enjoy a glass of wine in the hot tub perched on the side of the cliff overlooking the lake.

The community of Prospect Lake has many local activities up at the community hall where you can enjoy yoga, Christmas dinner, pickle ball and many spring activities.

This home is dog friendly for a small to medium size dog. It has a fenced-in dog area that also has access to a small doggie door into the house.

Although this property provides an environment that makes you feel you are miles from the city, this community is only 15 min from Victoria, YYJ International Airport, 20 minutes to the ferry and 10 minutes to the General Hospital.
